Canadian Port of Entry (POE)
- Interior plumbing, electrical and HVAC rough-ins continue for the maintenance building as well as the priming of the interior precast panels, framing of interior partitions and prep work for the roofing installation.
- Underground utility and slab on grade preparations continue for the main building, while multiple concrete slab on deck placements are completed.
- Slab on grade preparations continue for the secondary inspection building.
- Reinforcing steel and formwork for the pier foundations continue for the secondary inspection canopy.
- Mechanical and electrical rough-in work is now underway for the client processing building as work continues
on the interior partition layout. - Structural steel erection continues for the primary inspection lane canopy.
- Structural steel work continues for the tolling building.
- Backfill activities continue for the tolling plaza as teams continue hauling off excess material.
- Subdrain work continues in the inbound traffic area.
- Underground utility work is ongoing.
Canadian Bridge site
- Rebar activities continue for the upper cross beam in the transition area of the tower legs.
- Floor beams, edge and redundancy girders are being erected at the pier table.
- Concrete, rebar and formwork continue for back span piers with the installation of the soffit cross beam.
- Pile driving continues for the approach bridge.
- Approach bridge foundation, rebar and formwork continue this week.
- CanAm steel for the bridge deck and anchor boxes continue to arrive on site.
