Road Closure
Upcoming Temporary Road Closure in Windsor, Ontario
Perimeter Access Road
- As construction of the Canadian Port of Entry continues, Bridging North America will temporarily close single lane section of the PAR to tie in underground utilities and restore concrete pavement. Before placement of concrete pavement, the section of lane closed may be reopened for periods of time when work is not occurring. Following the concrete pour, the section closed will not reopen until the concrete has cured. On-street signage and barriers will be present to direct traffic. Note that the work will start on October 11, 2022, to November 8, 2022.
Canadian Port of Entry (POE)
- Continued the installation of controls rough ins and started the final roof on the Energy building.
- Began installation of interior plumbing, electrical, HVAC, controls, and fire suppression rough ins and began the parapet wood framing on the Maintenance building.
- Underground utilities, slab on grade work, framing and block wall work, roofing, and precast panel installation continue for the Main Building
- Installation of interior plumbing, electrical, HVAC and fire suppression rough ins continue for the secondary inspection building.
- Installation of reinforcing steel, formwork and concrete placements for the pier foundations continues for the Secondary Inspection Canopy.
- Interior plumbing, electrical, HVAC and fire suppression rough ins work continue for the Client Processing building.
- Structural steel erection continues for the primary inspection lane canopy.
- Underground utility work continues for the tolling building.
- MSE wall installation continues at the east gateway.
Canadian Bridge site
- Corbel LUD installation continues.
- Temporary longitudinal restraints were uninstalled.
- The approach and back span activities are ongoing.
