Windsor, Ontario – The following statement was issued today by Marie Campagna, Chair, Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA), Board of Directors
“As Chair of WDBA’s Board of Directors, I am pleased to welcome new board member David Chemla. His significant experience in providing advisory services required for the successful planning, procurement, financing and implementation of major infrastructure projects, will benefit the Board and WDBA management as we oversee delivery and future operation of the Gordie Howe International Bridge project.”
The Board of Directors has overall responsibility for the oversight of WDBA, holds management accountable for fulfilling WDBA’s statutory mandate and achieving corporate objectives, and ensures that significant risks to the corporation are identified and well managed. It also plays an important role in setting WDBA’s strategic direction and ensuring alignment with the priorities of the Government of Canada.
