Opportunities to assist WDBA expected to be released over the next two weeks
WINDSOR, ONTARIO – Over the next two weeks, opportunities for businesses to support the activities of the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) will be posted locally and/or through the MERX.electronic tendering service.
The initial series of Requests for Proposals / Quotations will focus on helping WDBA become operational and will include opportunities for information technology, website development services, branding and accommodations. More office and project related opportunities will be issued over the coming months.
“These requests for proposals mark an important step towards WDBA becoming fully operational", said Michael Cautillo, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority. "We look forward to having local and area businesses compete and for them to be part of this exciting project."
WDBA is committed to offering contract and employment opportunities through fair and transparent competitive processes. Information on Requests for Proposals and other opportunities will be published in local newspapers, on the MERX system, and eventually on a new WDBA website.
