Mike St. Amant, WDBA’s Chief Financial and Administration Officer, can now add an extra letter to the designation after his name.
At a presentation ceremony on December 3, 2019, in Toronto, Mike, along with 54 other Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA), were recognized as a Fellow – the highest honour bestowed upon a CPA within the accounting profession.
Through the process of being nominated and selected by a committee of their peers, Fellows exemplify the values that the designation embodies, including integrity, high ethical standards, leadership and community engagement.
“I’m honored and humbled to receive this award. It’s not something I ever imagined I would earn and receive,” said Mike.
Mike received his CPA on December 13, 1985, and was just the second member of his family to earn a university education.
When asked about what advice he would give to others who strive to reach the top of their profession, Mike says “Care about the work you do, and the people you work with, and everything else will follow.”
And Mike does just that.
Congratulations Mike, Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority is proud of your achievement and commends your hard work and dedication.
