It was a day of celebration as the Gordie Howe International Bridge project team opened the doors to its Sandwich Community Office located in the former Post Office building at 3201 Sandwich Street in Windsor, Ontario.
On hand at the event were CEOs Bryce Phillips from Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) and Aaron Epstein from Bridging North America (BNA). They took the time to connect with the community and answer questions about the project. “Today was an incredible opportunity to meet the people living and working in the community that is hosting our project”, said Mr. Phillips.
During the open house, many dropped in to welcome the project team to the community and learn about the latest activities happening on the project. “Being able to tell folks in the community firsthand what BNA is doing to move this project forward was a rewarding experience. I’m hopeful that they will share their knowledge they learned about the project today with others,” said Mr. Epstein.
